Our school is underpinned by our core values of integrity, ambition, and excellence, alongside our three school rules: responsibility, respect, and resilience. Our values shape everything we do, from the way we learn to the way we treat others, and the high standards we uphold for ourselves and each other.

We are proud to offer a rich and stimulating curriculum that is both rigorous and joyful. Central to our approach is the Primary Knowledge Curriculum (PKC), a carefully sequenced, knowledge-rich programme designed by subject experts. The PKC promotes excellent outcomes for all pupils by ensuring that knowledge builds year on year, helping children to develop deep conceptual understanding and subject-specific skills over time.

The coherence of the curriculum means learning doesn’t jump from topic to topic, but is connected and meaningful. This structured approach not only supports academic progression but also nurtures a genuine love for each subject. The rich content of the PKC inspires curiosity and plants the seeds for a lifelong love of learning.

At The Rushmere Park Academy, we work hard, but we also believe that learning should be engaging and fun. Our environment encourages children to develop self-confidence and independence and to experience success in many forms.
