If you live in Central Bedfordshire, please click on the link to be transferred to their website where you can apply online or download a paper copy of the application form.
Admission to The Rushmere Park Academy falls into one of two categories, but in all circumstances admission is subject to the statutory Admissions Code, which can be found by following the link below to the Department for Education website:
1. NORMAL ADMISSIONS ROUND- Admission to a year group starting in September of the current academic year
Application for admission to start in Year R for September 2026 – the Normal Admissions Round for 2025-2026, is managed by the local authority’s admissions team, whose address can be found below.

Finding a school place for your child can be a little daunting at times.
We have tried to include links on our website to help you navigate through information you may like to know, especially if you are new to the area. We have also made it easy for you to arrange a visit to look around our nursery, pre-school or academy by clicking the link below and filling in a booking form, plus you can use our 'Virtual Tour' to take a sneaky peak before you arrive.
As an academy we're responsible for our own admissions, so you can apply directly to us, alternatively you can still apply through the local authority and list us as one of your preferences.

2. IN-YEAR ADMISSION - Admission to a year group after the starting date for that academic year (ie. September)
Applications for in-year - If you wish to apply for a place at The Vale Academy after the academic year has started and live in Dunstable or Central Bedfordshire, please find the application form below.

If the year group applied for is full (over-subscribed), an application for admission may be unsuccessful and parents will be advised of this as soon as possible. In such circumstances parents will need to consider alternatives and are advised to seek clarification and/or advice from one or more of the following:

Refusal of a place at one of Advantage Schools academies does not affect the parental right to appeal – details of which can be found below and also by following the link below to the Department for Education website.
